The Wildlife Club
undertook a survey of garden birds throughout 2009, with one week
each month being designated as a recording week. You can view the
monthly results here by chosing from the lists below. The final summary
for the year is on the clubs main website.
As the full summaries
are quite large, they may take some time (two minutes or more) to
load if you do not have a broadband connection. We have created smaller
versions where necessary so that dial-up users can load a shorter
version (under one minute) to get the essentials and then opt to load
other parts individually.
NOTE
- Internet Explorer users may find that the full version of the graphics
does not immediately display properly (detail missing). Netscape may
also suffer the same problem. This is due to the way that these browsers
render large graphics to fit on-screen. Other browsers (Firefox, Safari,
Opera for example) use a different method of rendering and do not
have this problem. The workaround is to use (on IE6) the 'expand'
button (the square icon with four arrows) on the graphic or (IE7)
the small magnifying glass with a 'plus' sign to enlarge the image
to its full size. You will probably need the scroll bars to view the
whole image.
